Been to the local nature reserve today, with my photography buddy John. This was our last day together today taking photo's as he his due to travel back to Scotland today after 4 days and about 1000 pictures taken.

This is a blue tit is after his lunch. We stood taking pictures for a while here, set up really well with holes in the fence to stick your camera lens through. The motor on my camera seem to frighten the birds off sometimes. Oops!

After I had taken 400 pictures today and John had taken over 400, we ended up in sub way for lunch, steak and cheese hot chocolate and chocolate cookie! When we finished lunch we went for another walk around a lake near my house more pictures taken!

Dropped John off at the airport ready for his flight home to Scotland. It was sad to see him go as we have had lots of fun over the week end, plenty of food and drink. My turn to go to Scotland in a couple of months.

I was just watching a photography program on the TV and they came up with a quote about photographers!

" What a photographer has, is a watchful attentiveness to the world and its ways, they see the things that we miss or don’t think about and report back so we have a chance to think again"

Would be good to hear your comments on that quote.
