The summer is still here, the sun is still shining. I am off work now until Tuesday next week how lucky am I.

I have been adding gadgets to my blog and was woundering what you think? and I you know a way of atracting followers please comment and let me know.

I have been taking pictures for many years and started with a 35mm film camera, now I use a canon EOS. I have seen so many changes with in the photographic work. I am not sure where it can go from here. Today it is so easy to take a picture and still hard to take a great picture. I haven't attended any courses (would like too tho) I just like taking pictures. Its a moment in time that you will not get again. I have lost so many pictures over the years from my past as the were prints with no digital format we have today. I will be out over the week end taking more pictures.

If there is anything you would like me to take a picture of or want to set a challenge to take a picture of a certain item or animal etc (please make it sensible) I will see what I can do.

Hi there,

I can share with you what I have found in my own research. I have yet to put most of these into practice.

*begin to network on-line.

Twitter is one way.
Facebook. If you connect your blog with facebook then you might attract more people.

*entertain people on your blog.

*Post regularily on your blog. If you're not posting on your blog you will less likely have people begin to follow your post. So, the more you post the better.

*Pictures, youtube, video's ...

*the layout of your blog is important as well. For whatever reason if people don't like the layout of your blog they are less likely going to be reading and following your blog.

*Personally, I'd research through as many blogs as possible and look at the blogs with lots of followers and lots of comments on their blog posts. See how they are designing their blog templates and what they have in their content. Not necessarily the topic but how they communicate the topic they are blogging about.

If blogs have lots of people commenting on their blog posts then they are doing something right to attract people to their blog.

Last suggestion ....

*make your blog posts readable.

I like how you break up what you write into paragraphs. I would also suggest emphasizing words and bringing personality into your blog.

Check out Rany's blog and how he emphasizes words and how he has a way of bringing his personality into his writing.

His career and ministry places him in a position of influencing people across the US and around the world. So, he's got an advantage over some of us people are less likely going to recognize as we walk down the street unlike Randy Thomas who's career, ministry, and testimony is highly controversial.

Got anything controversial to talk about that your passionate about? Are you into saving baby wales? If your not passionate about a topic I wouldn't go there but if you are then I would.

Thanks for following me on twitter. :)
